Business Development is a localized team focusing on Sales supporting and marketing activities implementation. You will be required to team work with cross-functional departments such as Marketing, Service, CBU, ect. to boost Waters business in local territories. Your knowledge in technology and working experience in analytical chemistry lab are strongly expected to make Waters Customer Success. This position would cover the north China region. 


  • Lead the informatics business development team, responsible for Waters China Informatics business growth by develop business develop planning, sales visit support , sales tools generation
  • Efficient management of customer base through planned coverage and follow up of key accounts, user and prospects
  • Responsible for Informatics related product or system business growth, such as Empower and NuGenesis.
  • Conduct seminars, product training and product demonstration
  • Work closely with sales & marketing teams to achieve and exceed sales goals
  • Business development and market penetrate of defined markets and industries. Be focus on coordinating, supporting       and communicating with sales team, application support team, service team, cross division team and corporate marketing team to achieve annual revenue target in defined markets and industries
  • Work with KOLs and customers to built the relationship and create the leads or opportunities in defined markets and industries


  • Bachelor/Master/PhD in Informatics, pharmaceutical or chemistry
  • Must have at least 5+ years working experience in instrument or informatics industries, and sales/BD working experience is required;
  • Good experience of quality system, such as GLP, GMP, GCP, ISO 9001;
  • Vast experiences in laboratory experience using CDS, ELN, SDMS, LIMS
  • Strong customer-orientation with ability in developing and fostering long term effective relationships  with key accounts and end users
  • Ability to leverage on external and internal resources to resolve issues and meet customer needs
  • Mature disposition, positive attitude and strong sense of commitment
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skill
  • Sales/BD team management experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin
  • Adaptable to dynamic and changing environment
  • Willing to travel on frequent basis in China, and occasionally overseas
